Mary’s Mom Wrote:

Mary is 6 years old. She loves playing with her brother James and going to the playground. What she mostly dislikes is broccoli. She really wants a baby doll, but she only wants it from Santa Claus. (we will be giving her a beautiful baby doll with Santa’s name on it). She also hopes, one day soon she can have a puppy.

Santa’s Reply:

Ho Ho Ho!
Merry Christmas, Mary!

I was sitting in my cozy chair, here at the North Pole, sipping some warm cocoa, when your name popped into my head. I knew I had to write to you immediately! I don’t want you think I forgot about you, ho ho ho, that will never happen. You are one of the best on my list.

I know you are 6 years old now and love playing with your brother James, send him my best. That makes me very proud of you — being kind and having fun together is one of the most magical things in the whole world. The elves sing songs while they work, and sometimes they laugh and play just like you do!

Has your dislike for broccoli changed at all? For some reason that sticks in my head. Ho ho ho! You’re not alone, Mary. Even some elves make funny faces when it shows up on their plates. But Mrs. Claus says broccoli helps children grow strong enough to run and play all they want, so try your best when you can. Who knows, one day you may change your mind about it.

I know you are wishing for something very special this year. The elves and I have been working on something just for you, and I think you’ll find it very, very special on Christmas.

Mrs. Claus and I were talking about getting another puppy and I remembered you were hoping for one too. With all the work we do here at the North Pole, being so busy we just might hold off on that dream for awhile. Puppies are wonderful friends, but so much work. I will keep your wish right here in my Santa heart. Sometimes big wishes take a little time, but I love that you’re hoping for one, just like us, someday.

It was so nice getting in touch with you, stay the sweet girl that you are, and keep believing in all the miracles that surround us. Rudolph sends his best, right now they are all practicing for their big night, we’ll see you soon! Keep an eye out.

Love, Santa Claus HOHOHO Merry Christmas

P.S. Mrs. Claus sends her love.

My son Johnny just turned 3 a few weeks ago. He has been begging us for a Trike and we think he is ready for one. He is also asking for the Transformer Rescue Bots. We will be putting Santa’s name on both of those. He loves playing in the dirt and keeps begging for a pony but that’s out of the question. He is a good boy and brings us so much joy, right now he is the only child. The only thing he hates is, bath time. Maybe you can tell him how important that is. Thank you.

Santa Wrote:

Ho Ho Ho!

Merry Christmas, Johnny!

I know you have turned 3 years old not too long ago, you are getting so big! Happy Birthday, my boy! The elves and I clapped our mittens together when we heard it was your Birthday. Three is a very special age, full of fun, giggles and adventure.

Something tells me you want some very special things this year. HOHOHO I love your list and I have a feeling something very special may be coming your way. You keep being the good boy that you are and I will see you real soon.

Looking over my list shows you love playing in the dirt — that sounds like a lot of fun! The reindeer love to roll in snowbanks, so they think you’re pretty cool. My list also shows you love ponies… well, ponies need lots of space and food and care, so that might have to be a “someday” wish. But it makes me smile that you dream big!

With all that playing in the dirt, I know you aren’t happy about bath time. Ho ho ho! Some elves feel the same way — they splash more water on the floor than on themselves! But baths help keep you clean, healthy, and strong so you can play and go on all kinds of adventures. So, try your best, my boy. Santa knows you can do it.

You have been such a good boy this year, Santa has something very special for you. Mrs. Claus and myself are very proud of you.

Keep being sweet, keep playing, and keep smiling that wonderful smile.

The reindeer and I will be flying by very soon!

My friend, Debra, lost a special someone not long ago and she is suffering quite a bit from this loss. She has lost faith and interest in many things. With Christmas approaching I wanted to send her a special note from Santa, hoping it would restore some happiness within her. Please don’t mention I sent this. Thank you!

Santa Wrote:

My Dearest Debra,

This year, as the snow settles quietly over the world and the lights begin to glow in windows near and far, I felt a tug at my heart to reach out to you. Sometimes, the magic of Christmas whispers to us in unexpected ways, especially when life has felt unbearable or heavy.

I know you have been carrying a deep sorrow — the kind that changes the way the world looks and feels. Losing someone special leaves a space no one else can fill, and it’s perfectly understandable that your heart has been tired, your spirit quieter than usual. Even here at the North Pole, where joy and laughter fill the halls, we know how tender and fragile a heart can become after such a loss.

But I want you to know something important:

You are not forgotten. You are not alone. And even in grief, the light within you has not gone out.

It’s still there — softly glowing, waiting for the right moment to shine again.

Christmas has always been a season of hope, not because life is perfect, but because it reminds us that even in the darkest nights, warmth and love still finds a way to reach us. You have been stronger than you realize, even on the days that felt impossible. And the love you shared with the one you lost… that love doesn’t end. It changes shape, but it stays with us, always.

So this Christmas, I hope you can give yourself permission to breathe, to rest, and to feel whatever your heart needs to feel. And I hope you can also allow a little spark of wonder back in — even if it’s small, even if it’s just for a moment. Sometimes that’s all it takes for the world to begin to brighten again.

There is still beauty ahead for you. Still joy waiting with open arms. Still peace that will find you when the time is right.

Until then, I’ll be keeping you in my thoughts, sending you comfort, and wishing you a gentle Christmas filled with warmth, kindness, and the quiet return of light.

With love and Christmas magic,

Santa & Mrs. Claus
